When the end of a year is in sight we start looking back at all the things we have accomplished in the past year. And we have to admit, 2018 turned out to be a pretty amazing year. We visited 5 affiliate marketing events and met a lot of new, outstanding and inspiring people. Let’s jump in our time machine and we will tell you all about last year!

European Summit Cascais

Our first event was the European Summit in Cascais which we visited with our all-time favorite super duo: Niels & Soufian. We flew to Lisbon and arrived in our stunning hotel with a spectacular ocean view. On our way to the show, we grabbed a Pastei de Nata, the #1 Portuguese delicacy and were ready to rock this show.

The launch of our new website

A few months later we launched our new website. A fresh and new look where we were able to present ourselves a bit better. The faces behind the Masters in Cash brand are more visible now. Because that’s what we wanted: to be more visible.

Affiliate World Europe: Barcelona

Being more visible was also one of the reasons why we booked a big booth at the Affiliate World conference in Barcelona. Which we ruled with a big group of experts. A lot of interesting people stopped by and we collected promising leads!

The Masters in Ibiza

The Ibiza Challenge was a resounding success! With a group of 11 affiliates, we partied like it was our last weekend on earth. The Elrow party at Amnesia, the awesome show by Kygo at Ushuaïa and as slap on the cake we dared our partners to jump off several 10-meter high cliffs. We don’t want to brag but this is as high as two and a half giraffes sitting on each other’s necks.

European Summit: Prague

This was quite a busy conference, first the meet market on Friday – which was surprisingly constructive to have been present on (for those who skipped it). The most important thing is that we had a chance to sit down with the people that matter. The majority of the adult vertical was present and it is a great feeling to be there – in the heart of it.

MAC Kiev affiliate conference

Borscht, dumplings and salo. Right, that’s the way to kick it off and get yourself familiarized with Kiev! Ukraine’s capital and biggest city hosted one of the best conferences in the affiliate marketing called MAC that the MIC team has attended for the first time. Among the great food and event organization, we met dozens of talented affiliates, creative companies, and fruitful speakers. Well done and see ya next time in Moscow!

Affiliate world Asia: Bangkok

Bangkok; The city of a thousand smells, good food, and even better business opportunities. The conference was nice and big, and we met many interesting people. Best thing about these conferences is that you usually meet new affiliates instead of the established order. The contacts you already know are good to see and speak to of course, however, new opportunities put smiles on our faces and are the essence of a conference like this!

So, that is what we did. We got new contacts, new opportunities and we got to smile big time! We will not forget Bangkok and the conference, which was awesome. We love the city, we still have to get used to the smells, but again – the business we do there is always good!

Christmas

No year is completed without Christmas and no Christmas is passed without a matching Christmas party! Together with almost the entire company (60+ people), we feasted like we’re the Masters of feasting at a fairytale castle in Oegstgeest. We celebrated the successes of last year and are looking forward to all what 2019 will bring!

2018 was a year we’ll never forget! We hope you had the chance to join us in some of the above, but if not… This is the best time to jump on board of the Masters boat, with its course straight to our new adventures waiting for us in 2019.
